The Bison 280 jaw crusher and the Colt 600 scalping screen were added to existing fleet
Duey Bros ltd is a family run business that was founded by brothers Seamus and Paul from Co Donegal.
To provide a solution to their local construction and demolition projects, Duey Bros purchased their Bison 120 from FJS Plant ltd. With manoeuvrability a key focus, the Bison 120 was a perfect fit for small scale jobs.
“We seen a void in the market for crushing on the smaller scale. A lot of construction demolition waste is sent to landfill, with high tipping fees and most crushing and screening contractors busy within the quarrying sector we invested in the Bison 120. Our customers have been happy with the savings they have made on tipping, transport and virgin aggregate costs.” Seamus Doherty, Duey Bro’s.
After two years running the Bison 120 Duey Bros have taken the step forward and added the Bison 280 and Colt 600 to their fleet.
“With the increase in enquires for further projects the Bison 280 jaw crusher and the Colt 600 scalping screen are the perfect match to accommodate our growth in demand.
We needed more capacity and robustness for harsher applications, the Bison 280 has allowed us to complete larger jobs both within recycling and virgin rock applications. Although a larger plant than our Bison 120, the 280 is just as easy to set up and operate.”
The Bison 280 is a compact and aggressive portable jaw crusher featuring the proven Terex ‘900mm x 600mm’ single toggle jaw crusher. This machine utilizes an extremely fuel efficient and powerful ‘Direct Drive’ system to power the Crusher which provides excellent performance in recycling, contracting and quarrying industries. The Bison 280 jaw crusher is compact in size, has quick set-up times, ease of transport and a user-friendly control system which makes the Bison 280 the ideal solution for all small to medium sized operators.
The Colt 600 Compact Scalping Screen has been specifically designed for operators for whom versatility, manoeuvrability and transportability are of key importance. It is small enough to fit inside a container for transport but strong enough to withstand the toughest of applications. The Colt 600 is a compact and aggressive forward-facing screen that can work in aggregates, sand and gravel, topsoil, construction demolition and recycling applications where site space is at a premium. With the large range of screen media available including bofor bars, finger screens, woven mesh and punch plates it provides the user with a level of versatility that is second to none.
