New Kilkenny Depot:
We announced the official opening of our New Sales and Service Depot in Newtown, Bonnettstown Co. Kilkenny, R95 AY89 on February 2nd, 2024. This monumental milestone marked the beginning of an exciting and productive year for FJS Plant Ltd, with a focus on growth and expansion.
The new Depot features an array of machines from the full Kubota product line, LiuGong Excavators and our recent addition of Merlo Telehandlers. All of our other brands are still available to purchase from the Kilkenny Depot but may not be available for immediate viewing on site but can be arranged swiftly.
We invite you to come visit the New Sales and Service Depot and experience first-hand the outstanding products and services the company offers.

New Naas Head Office:
We are delighted to share the progress made on the development of our new head office, show room and workshop in Osberstown Business Park, Naas, W91 N6DX.
The construction of our new facility has been a massive undertaking, but we are starting to see everything come together. The building is taking shape, and both the interior and exterior design is starting to reflect our brand and values. We have been working tirelessly to ensure that our new building will provide an exceptional experience for all our customers. From Sales to Service to Parts, this new building will have it all to meet the needs of all our customers.
We are incredibly proud of the progress we have made on this project, and we are looking forward to sharing our new facility with the public in early 2025.
New Merlo Dealer:
As of the 1st of August 2024, we were officially announced as a New Merlo Dealer in Ireland. With this agreement, we are now serving the Leinster and Connaught area with our Merlo Agriculture range and Leinster with our Construction range.
We are now able to offer a full range of products to our customers. This includes products such as Compact Telehandlers, Panoramic Telehandlers, Turbofarmer Telehandlers, Multifarmer Telehandlers, Rotating Telehandlers and Merlo Attachments!
In addition to offering a wide range of products, we also provide servicing and maintenance for all Merlo machines. Our team of experienced technicians are now trained to handle any repairs or maintenance needs. With the addition of Kevin Maher to our service team, you can ensure that the work is held at the highest standards and efficiency.
Shows:
2024 was a busy year for shows and events. These shows are a great way to show off some of our new products and machine upgrades to customers around the country. Engaging with customers regularly helps us understand customer needs and improve as a business overall. Here is a roundup of some of the shows we attended in 2024!

New Products Added in 2024:
Alongside the introduction of Merlo to our Brand Portfolio, we also seen the addition of some exciting products to our existing fleet of machinery. These included the following

EvoQuip:
2024 seen a great uptake in EvoQuip crusher and screening solution sales. Michael had a great year providing the right machine and insight for customers for their various application needs. Two stand out sales of the year that helped us reach our 2024 goal –
Duey Bros: Duey Bros ltd is a family run business that was founded by brothers Seamus and Paul from Co Donegal. After two years running their Bison 120, they have taken the step forward and added the Bison 280 and Colt 600 to their fleet. They needed more capacity and robustness for harsher applications, the Bison 280 has allowed them to complete larger jobs both within recycling and virgin rock applications.
Hightown Quarry: Hightown Quarry landfill site currently comprises of a worked Basalt quarry, adjacent to an existing inert landfill site. They invested in EvoQuip’s Bison 340 and Colt 1600 from FJS Ltd to elevate their operations. “Our EvoQuip Bison 340 and Colt 1600 supplied by FJS are a perfect pair here at Hightown. We produce natural quarried aggregate and process construction demolition waste into a clean recycled useable product. The machines and support from FJS has surpassed our needs at Hightown Quarry and they provide a great solution to our expanding business operations.” – Chris Beattie Hightown Quarry Manager
Used Machinery:
In 2024 we also seen an opportunity to grow within our business and decided to have a dedicated Used Machinery Salesman. Sean stepped into the role with 2+ years’ experience as our Sales Admin in the office and we have seen a significant increase in Used sales and a whole new customer base.
Our used machinery portfolio doesn’t only include Kubota products, we often receive a wide selection of other brands across the Plant, Agri and Groundcare sectors. Our DoneDeal showroom and used machinery page on our new website, are regularly updated with the latest machinery available. So, make sure to check them out!
Sponsorships:
2024 seen FJS continue as the main sponsor for St Kevins Gaa. This covers all teams from underage right up to Senior. St Kevins had a great year overall and it was a pleasure being a part of it all and supporting teams through their busy year!
We also sponsor various athletes within the motorsport industry. Some noticeable names include Kev Keyes, Tommy Graham, Lauren Judge, David Travers and the recent addition of young Alex Conlan. If you don’t already, make sure to follow and keep up to date with all their progress in 2025
We also sponsor Clane RFC U16 team and have various pitch signs across various GAA teams in Kildare. We also have a pitch sign in the process of being put up in the new St Conleth’s park. It’s an honour to be able to support the county teams with what will hopefully be a better 2025 across the board!
What to look forward to in 2025:
We look forward to continuing on from the success of 2024 and bring it into 2025 and grow even further. Our aim is to push on with Merlo and really establish the brand as our own. We are looking forward to some of the exciting new product launches from our brands and in particular Kubota. We can’t wait to share with you all the improved product range in 2025! With the opening of our new facility in Naas, and our newly opened Kilkenny depot, we look forward to serving even more customers and providing and even better solution to your machinery needs!
