Description
The Merlo Roto 50.26 telehandler is engineered for demanding lifting and material handling where height and rotation flexibility are essential. With a rated capacity of around 4,950 kg and a maximum lift height exceeding 25 metres, it’s designed to handle heavy loads at significant heights with confidence. Its continuously rotating turret expands operational versatility, allowing operators to position loads without relocating the base unit, which is particularly valuable on complex sites.
Powering the machine is a robust FPT NEF45 engine delivering approximately 125 kW (170 hp), paired with a hydrostatic transmission and Eco Power Drive management to optimise fuel efficiency. The Roto 50.26 features permanent four‑wheel drive and multiple steering modes for excellent traction and manoeuvrability across uneven terrain. Multi‑position stabilisers with automatic levelling ensure stability during heavy lifts, enhancing safety and performance.
Operator comfort and precision control are central to the Roto 50.26’s design. A spacious, ergonomic cab with a tilting function improves visibility when working at height, while advanced load‑sensing and flow‑sharing hydraulics deliver smooth, simultaneous movements for boom, rotation and stabilisers. The intuitive joystick and display systems help the operator monitor machine parameters and work within safe load limits.
Built for versatility, the Roto 50.26 supports a wide range of attachments such as forks, buckets, platforms, grapple saws and more, making it suitable for tasks in construction, infrastructure, agriculture and industrial settings. Its blend of lifting power, reach, continuous rotation and technology makes it a capable workhorse where high performance and precision are required under demanding conditions.
