Description

The Engcon EC219 tiltrotator is a compact yet powerful attachment designed to significantly boost the versatility of excavators in the 14–19 tonne weight class. Its balanced design keeps overall weight and build height low while delivering strong performance and intelligent control, making it ideal for a wide range of earthmoving and precision tasks.

Equipped with Engcon’s DC2 stepless proportional control system as standard, the EC219 gives operators smooth and intuitive control over tilt and rotation from the cab. When paired with the S60 quick hitch, the system also includes EC-Oil automatic coupling, allowing hydraulic tools to be connected and disconnected without the operator leaving the seat — a major productivity and safety benefit on busy jobsites.

Built for real-world work, the tiltrotator incorporates Q-Safe quick hitch safety, centralised lubrication points and load-holding valves on the tilt cylinders. This enhances durability and reduces maintenance while increasing operator confidence. The EC219 is also prepared for popular accessories such as the detachable gripper (GRD) and the rotating brush (SWD), expanding its utility across many tasks.

With continuous 360° rotation, a ±45° tilt range, and strong breakout torque (~186 kNm), the EC219 maximises machine capability for trenching, grading, and material handling. Its compatibility with optional rotation sensors and advanced control systems makes it a future-ready choice for contractors and operators seeking precision, efficiency, and reduced machine-to-ground time.
