The Engcon EC233 tiltrotator is engineered to transform mid-to-large excavators into highly agile, multifunctional machines for demanding earthmoving work. Designed for excavators in the ~24–33 tonne class, this tiltrotator combines robust construction with advanced hydraulic performance to deliver smooth operation and extended versatility on jobsites of all types.
With a full ±45° tilt range and continuous 360° rotation, the EC233 gives operators exceptional control over bucket and tool orientation, dramatically improving precision in grading, trenching, and material handling tasks. Its high breaking torque (~340 kNm) and EC-Oil automatic coupling system allow attachments and tools to be connected without leaving the cab, saving time and enhancing productivity.
Built for safety and reliability, the EC233 comes fitted with Engcon’s Q-Safe quick hitch and can be prepared for optional rotation sensor (ePS) systems, central lubrication and load-holding valves on tilt cylinders — features that reduce wear and increase uptime. Hardened piston rods and a rugged mechanical design ensure long life even in tough working conditions.
The tiltrotator also integrates seamlessly with the DC2 proportional control system, giving operators stepless, intuitive hydraulic control through ergonomic joysticks and added features like remote support and multi-function steering. Compatible with a wide range of attachments including detachable grippers, grading buckets and more, the EC233 enhances both machine capability and site efficiency.
