The EvoQuip Cobra 290 is a high‑capacity tracked impact crusher engineered to deliver class‑leading productivity across a wide range of applications including construction demolition, recycling, asphalt reuse and aggregate production. Its robust 1,030 mm × 790 mm impact chamber with hydraulic adjustment and overload protection ensures consistent reduction performance even in demanding environments.
At the heart of the machine is a large 1,000 mm × 1,034 mm diameter rotor configured with two high and two low bars to provide excellent blow energy and reduction, while the integrated pre‑screen and auto‑regulating feeder help optimise material flow and minimise fines entering the crushing chamber. This leads to improved efficiency and fuel savings over the course of a day’s work.
Material handling and output are enhanced by a wide 1,000 mm product conveyor that discharges processed material at approximately 3.42 m, enabling clean stockpiling and smooth site operations. The machine’s intuitive push‑button control system and quick setup make it straightforward to operate, helping contractors and plant hire businesses maximise uptime and productivity.
Powered by a Volvo D8 235 kW (315 hp) engine with a direct drive system via clutch and V‑belts, the Cobra 290 balances strong crushing capability with efficient fuel use.
