Description

The EvoQuip Colt 600 Scalping Screen is a compact and robust screening solution engineered for operators who prioritise versatility, manoeuvrability and transportability on site. Designed to fit within a container for easy transport yet strong enough for heavy‑duty applications, the forward‑facing incline screen is ideal for aggregates, sand and gravel, topsoil, demolition and recycling projects where space is at a premium.

At its core is a heavy‑duty 2.34 m × 1.17 m (8′ × 4′) double deck screen that accepts a wide range of screen media — including bofor deck bars, finger screens, punch plates and woven mesh — allowing operators to tailor the screening profile to different materials and output requirements. The hopper’s 3 m³ capacity and 1 m (40″) wide variable‑speed feeder handle feed material up to around 300 mm (12″), supporting efficient throughput even in tougher site conditions.

Material handling on the Colt 600 is optimised by a trio of conveyors: a fines conveyor with approximately 2.9 m discharge height, a midgrade conveyor at around 2.8 m and a wide 1,000 mm (40″) oversize conveyor with about 2.7 m discharge. Variable speed on midgrade and oversize conveyors as standard, along with the ability to convert to a 2‑way split setup, adds flexibility for stockpiling, scalping before or after crushers and precision grading tasks.

Powered by efficient engine options including a Tier 3 or Tier 4F/Stage V CAT C2.2 unit, the Colt 600 delivers strong performance up to roughly 280 tonnes per hour (308 US tph) with low fuel consumption thanks to a high‑performance hydraulic system. Its compact dimensions, rapid setup time and ease of operation make it a strong choice for contractors and plant hire companies seeking a scalable and reliable screening machine for a wide range of onsite applications.
